Venus

The words actually describe how the element mercury (Hg) is used to extract gold from ore. They sound too much like Dungeons & Dragons, so I buried them in distortion and reverb.

Mercury

I had a hard day.  My throat was too messed up to sing much, I felt kind of sick, and I was in a generally bad mood that froze my creative flow.  In the end, I decided to try writing songs named after the planets of our solar system. I only got as far as Venus.

This session lasted from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The total running time of the tracks is 6:27.
